Fun Date-Night Idea
For Christmas, my friend Amber gave me the amazing book/journal The 52 Lists Project: A Year of Weekly Journaling Inspiration. Compiled by blogging sensation Moorea Seal, it’s an ingenious idea—52 prompts to make a list each week of the year about any and everything. For the pathological list maker (Logan jokes that whenever we move, the last 3 boxes are just full of all of my lists) this book is a dream come true.
Here’s an example of some of the prompts ::
- List your goals and dreams for the year
- List your favorite characters from books, movies, etc.
- List your quirks
- List what you would spend a million dollars on, just for you
It’s a surprisingly fun way to spend fifteen minutes a week, but Amber gave me an even better idea—she and her husband each make a list for themselves and then compare notes. Wouldn’t that be a fun date night? It’s so easy to see how you could discover something new about each other, remember something you’d forgotten, and spend some time just having fun together.
Whether you’re newly dating or an old-married-couple, I thought might be a great date-night idea for the year. :)
