February. Oh. My. Gosh. This was the busiest month ever! Do you ever look at your calendar, feel a cold trickle down your spine and think, “Wait…what have I done?” This was one of those months for me. It was jam-packed with things that I love—things that energize and excite me—but now that most of the projects are behind me, I’ve purposely not planned anything big for the foreseeable future!
Despite all the busyness, the month was filled with many wonderful things. I went to a Women’s Encounter (a kind of spiritual intensive) with my church and it was nothing short of life-changing. Logan and I also got away on another weekend for a marriage retreat and it feels like our marriage had the equivalent of a spa day. Also, this week I’m busy helping to prepare for An Evening in the Grove—a fundraising event for Velvet Ashes, a ministry that I find so inspiring and needed! If you’re local, I highly recommend gathering a group of friends or couples and getting tickets. There will be lots of yummy food and live music and it’s all for a very good cause!
And since it’s the end of the month, here are some links, just for fun ::
- Pretty earrings
- Would you watch this show? Such an insane premise!
- Busted
- I’ve been craving these so bad!
- I loved this woman’s honest thoughts on body image.
- Made me laugh…so hard.
- The Rare Power of Shock
- My friend’s Instagram account was recently hacked and it’s got me wanting to order a stack of these, just in case.
- Old Navy, how are you so cute and so cheeeeeeap?
Much love, friends! xoxo, Aanna
