Best Face Wash

I’ve used the same face wash for the past 5 years, but after reading about one French woman’s beauty routine, I decided to give Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap a try. To be honest, at first I hated it. Because it’s actual soap (not a gentle cleanser like most face washes these days), it left my skin feeling stripped and tight. Even though I didn’t like it, I doggedly used it, only because I hate to waste anything. However, within a matter of a few weeks, I realized that my skin was clearer than it had been in years! In fact, in the two months since I started using it, I can’t remember getting even one blemish. For my normally problem skin, this is a near miracle. Besides that, my skin looks more taut and the tone is more even.

As far as the tight feeling I get after using it, I just slather on lotion or coconut oil. (And now that I’ve added essential oils to my routine, this has become a very calming nightly ritual and it doesn’t even bother me anymore.)

Anyway, I just wanted to pass on the tip. What about you? Any great beauty tips you’ve found lately? What do you use for your face? Also, how do the French just know everything???
