6 Beautiful DIYs
Whenever the weather starts getting colder and I’m holding a hot drink in my hands more often than not, I start getting in the mood for crafts. There’s just something about preparing for the hibernation period of winter that has me in the mood to produce—to make something beautiful or useful for my family or friends. Here are a few crafts that I’d love to try my hand at this fall ::
These quilted throw pillows are so deliciously homey and sweet. It would be so satisfying to sew such a methodical pattern, too, don’t you think?
Keeping all the strands monochromatic make these friendship bracelets sophisticated enough for adult BFFs. The tutorial says that the pattern is pretty challenging, which I think would make it a fun project while watching a movie on a snowy Friday night.
We have stacks of books everywhere in our house and I’m constantly trying to find a place for them. I love the simplicity of this design, but also think it looks so gorgeous!
Embroidery is such a fun craft that it’s almost therapeutic. I embroidered a little project over the weekend and swore to do it more often.
This pretty, simple hanging planter would look goo just about anywhere. What a great way to bring some greenery indoors for the long winter.
It’s really not too early to start on Christmas projects, and this advent village is one of the cutest things I’ve seen in a long time!
What about you? Do you like to craft? Do you make gifts for Christmas? What are you working on these days?
